There’s nothing I like more than the return of sweater weather, the chance to pull my Hunter boots out of storage, the smell of a burning Bath and Body Works fall candle, and the taste of a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Sure it’s damper outside than usual (that’s quite an understatement especially after the storm we had this past weekend) and it’s always a challenge to make a raincoat look cute, but I love the fall season and everything about it gets me going.
The return of fall also promises the unveiling of new makeup collections at both high end beauty stores and drugstores. Even though makeup is the last thing that I need to buy, I always seem to find myself filling shopping baskets full of waterproof mascaras, various shades of red lipsticks, and of course fall colored nail polishes. Being a nail polish addict, I admit it, I’m a sucker for fall themed manicures. Although I don’t have the patience or skills to bedazzle my own nails, I spend hours and hours looking at nail designs that incorporate gold, orange and brown leaves, pumpkins, candy corn, or turkeys in them.
For the first Nail’d It, I am going to share my favorite fall nail designs that I’ve found on Pinterest. These nails are incredible and I’m extremely envious of anyone who has the talent to paint these designs on either their own nails or someone else’s!
